Customisation

We customize size to your bottle, print to your brand, foil to your palette. You can change dimensions or use a different cardstock weight for heavier bottles. The rope color can be swapped, and the handle length adjusted to hang lower. Your logo, a vineyard photo, or a monogram may replace the default pattern. Board, foil, handles

The body is 210g black cardstock, which is a good middle ground for wine bags: heavy enough to hold a 750ml bottle without sagging, light enough that the bag doesn't feel like a box. Because the black base gives the foil a dark backdrop, the gold pops more than it would on kraft or white.

The handles are three-strand rope, attached through reinforced holes. Since single-strand handles fail when a customer swings the bag, we don't offer that here. Foil stamping is applied after printing, and we check registration on the first article. The corners are creased, not cut. This makes the bag open square.

Bottle fit and carry

Cut for a standard 750ml wine bottle, the bag's 12 x 9 cm base gives a flat seat, and its 35 cm height leaves enough top room to grip the handles without the bottle's neck poking through. With a loaded bottle, we check the fit: shake for 10 seconds, no movement; tilt 45 degrees, no slide; invert, no release. Rope handles are tested by lifting a full bottle repeatedly. Not too wide, not too narrow.

Can you make this bag for a magnum or a half bottle?

Yes. The 12 x 9 x 35 cm size is for a standard 750ml bottle, but we cut to your bottle's dimensions. What's needed are the height and diameter; then we adjust the base and height so the bottle sits without leaning. The handle position stays proportional, something we ensure.

How does the foil stamping hold up in shipping?

The foil is applied with heat and pressure, so it bonds to the cardstock. Under normal handling, it won't rub off. Because hard impacts in courier networks can crease the board and crack the foil, we recommend keeping the bag inside a shipping carton if it goes through those networks.

What if I want a different color than black?

We can run any cardstock color. Black is one common choice because it makes gold stand out, but we have run deep red, navy, and cream. The foil color is changeable, too: bright gold, red gold, silver, matte metallic. We send a sample first.
