White Cardstock Wine Bag with Foil

It's a single-bottle paper bag made from 250 g white cardstock. The three-strand rope handles spread the weight, so they don't cut into your hand. Hot stamping and UV coating give it a metallic shine and a smooth gloss. On a retail shelf, it reads premium. Wineries use it at the cellar door. Gift shops bundle it with wine. Promotional runs count on it to carry the brand. Order it blank or with your own artwork. We'll adjust the size and finish to match your bottle.

  • 250 g white cardstock body. It stands upright on its own. The board is smooth, which means crisp print coverage.
  • Hot stamping and UV coating. The foil layer bonds to the cardstock. The UV coat adds gloss and resists scuffs. The bag looks cleaner for longer.
  • Three-strand rope handles. They pass through reinforced holes and knot inside. They're not glued to the surface. That's why they hold up to repeated carrying.
  • Universal card slot liner. It drops into the bottom and grips the bottle. It also has a bottle opener. A functional extra, not just a spacer.
  • CMYK printing. Full-color artwork goes directly on the cardstock. Gradients and photos come out clean.

Customisation

We print your logo, artwork, or full-color design in CMYK. Foil stamping in gold, silver, or a custom metallic. Size, handle length, and liner are adjustable. You pick the cardstock finish, matte or gloss. UV coating can cover the whole bag or just the printed areas.

How the bag is built

The body is cut from one sheet of 250 g white cardstock. Empty, it holds a rigid, boxy shape. That helps when you stack bags at a checkout or pack a retail display. It helps foil stamping too. Under heat and pressure, the cardstock doesn't warp the way lighter paper would.

The handles are three-strand rope. They pass through reinforced holes and knot on the inside. Simple, but the weight spreads across the full width. The liner is a separate piece. It has a card slot and a bottle opener. It drops into the bottom and keeps the bottle slightly off the base.

How a bottle sits

A standard 750 ml bottle drops in with about a finger's width of clearance on each side. It won't bind when you pack it. The liner grips the bottle near the base. It can't shift as the bag swings. On every run we check the fit three ways: shake 10 seconds, no movement. Tilt 45 degrees, no slide. Invert, no release. If the bottle moves, we adjust the liner. That's our in-house check, not a third-party standard. But it catches the bags that would fail in a customer's hand.

Where it works

Cellar door sales. Gift shops that bundle wine with glasses or chocolate. Event planners who need a branded bag for a hundred guests. E-commerce sellers who want a bag that doubles as shipping presentation. The cardstock holds up to a poly mailer better than thin kraft. It's wrong if you need to carry two or more bottles. The base width is set for one. And if your bottle is taller than a standard still wine, tell us. We adjust the height.

Buyer questions

Can you make this bag for a bottle that is taller or wider than a standard 750 ml?

Yes. Send us the bottle dimensions or a sample. In return we'll adjust the bag height, width, and liner position. The cardstock weight stays the same unless you request a heavier board. Before production, we'll send a blank sample so you can test the fit with your actual bottle.

Does the hot stamping rub off or fade after a few uses?

The foil is applied with heat and pressure. It bonds to the cardstock surface, not just sits on top. It won't rub off in normal handling. The UV coating adds a protective layer over the printed areas. For a one-time gift, it holds up. For retail reuse, it's still intact after multiple carries.

What is the liner with the bottle opener for?

The liner is a card slot that sits in the bottom of the bag. It keeps the bottle from sliding around. It also includes a small bottle opener, a useful extra for gift sets or event giveaways. If you don't want the opener, we can make the liner plain or leave it out entirely.
