Festive Two-Bottle Wine Gift Box with Bag
This is a two-bottle gift set built around a magnetic double-door box and a matching red paper bag. The EVA insert is cut for two bottles and holds them at four points, so the neck and shoulder never take load. Gold foil stamping and embossing add depth to the logo. The red exterior with black interior reads as celebration and luxury without extra decoration. It suits wineries, e-commerce sellers and importers who want a festive presentation that survives transit. The bag turns it into a complete retail or gifting unit.
- Magnetic double-door closure. The flip-top opens like a book and closes with magnets. It gives a premium unboxing feel without adding fragile hardware.
- Custom wine-red EVA insert. The insert holds two bottles at four points. No unsupported neck or shoulder, so the bottle can't pivot or knock against the box wall.
- Gold foil and embossing. Foil stamping plus embossing makes the logo dimensional. It holds fine detail better than flat print on red board.
- Matching red paper bag. The bag is cut to the same red as the box. It carries the full set and keeps the presentation consistent at retail.

Customisation
You can change the box dimensions to fit your bottle, the EVA insert profile, the exterior colour and the facing material. The logo can be foil stamped, embossed, debossed or printed with UV varnish. The bag colour and handle style can be matched to the box. Send your bottle dimensions or a sample, a reference design and your quantity. We'll send blank and printed samples before mass production.
How the box is built
The box body uses corrugated cardboard or white card, with art paper, wood or leather as facing options. The double-door front is hinged, and magnets hold it shut. That hinge is the weak point on cheap versions; here the creases are scored so they don't crack when the doors are opened repeatedly.
The insert is EVA foam, cut to the bottle profile. It sits inside the box and keeps the neck and shoulder clear of the walls. The bag is paper, matched to the box colour. Foil stamping, UV varnish and embossing are applied after the board is formed, so the finish doesn't lift at the folds.
Bottle fit and transit checks
The EVA insert is cut for two bottles. Each bottle is held at four points: two on the body, two on the neck. No unsupported neck or shoulder means the bottle can't pivot if the box is dropped. Our control tolerance for inserts is plus or minus 1 mm, and for the box body plus or minus 2 mm. Before shipping, we run our in-house checks: shake the loaded box for 10 seconds and watch for movement, tilt it 45 degrees to confirm no slide, and invert it to confirm the bottle doesn't release. If it moves, the insert is recut.
Where it works best
This set fits festive gifting, retail display and e-commerce orders where the box is part of the product. The double-door opening works well on a counter or a shelf. It's not the right choice for high-volume courier shipping where the box will be stacked under heavy cartons; the magnetic closure and hinged doors are not designed for that abuse. For transit-only jobs, a corrugated shipper is cheaper and stronger. But when the box has to sell the wine, this one does the job.
Buyer questions
Can the insert be cut for different bottle shapes, like Burgundy or sparkling?
Yes. The EVA insert is cut to your bottle profile. Burgundy and sparkling bottles have wider shoulders, so the insert needs a different cavity shape. Send your bottle sample or a dimensioned drawing, and we'll cut the insert to hold it at four points without touching the neck or shoulder.
Will the magnetic closure stay shut during shipping?
The magnets are positioned to hold the doors closed, but the box is not a substitute for a shipping carton. For courier or pallet shipping, pack the gift box inside a corrugated outer. Our in-house checks include a 1.2 m drop test with the bottle loaded, but that's for the gift box itself, not for stacking under heavy cartons.
Can the gold foil be applied to the red exterior without cracking?
Foil stamping is applied after the board is formed, so it doesn't crack at the folds. We control the crease depth and the foil temperature to keep the finish intact. Deep embossing combined with foil can be tricky on thin facing paper, so we use a minimum 157 g specialty or coated paper for the facing.
