Customisation

The print can be changed to your brand. We can hot stamp a logo in gold, silver, or a custom foil. The facing paper colour can change from black to another shade. If your bottle is a different shape, we redraw the insert. The bag can be printed with the same design or left plain. We send a blank sample to check the structure and a printed sample to check the visual before mass production.

How the box is built

The box body is rigid cardboard, not a folding carton. That means the walls keep their shape when the box is empty or stacked. The flap-top lid opens on a hinge and closes flush, so there's no magnetic catch to misalign. The facing paper is black with silver foil print. We control the box body to plus or minus 2 mm, so the lid sits square on the base.

The carry bag is kraft paper with the same foil print. The handles are attached to the bag body, not glued to the surface. That detail matters when a customer carries the set by the handles for more than a few minutes. The bag is sized to fit the box with a little clearance, so it slides in and out without tearing.

Bottle fit and carry

The interior lining is cut for a standard 750ml bottle. It grips the bottle body, not the neck or shoulder. We check every new insert design three ways: shake the loaded box for 10 seconds and listen for movement, tilt it 45 degrees and see if the bottle slides, then invert it and check the bottle doesn't release. Our control tolerance for the insert is plus or minus 1 mm. If your bottle is taller or has a wider shoulder, we adjust the insert drawing before you pay for tooling. The bag handles are load-tested with a full bottle, and the box is drop-tested from 1.2 m with the bottle inside.

Where this set works

This set fits retail, e-commerce, and corporate gifting. A wine shop can sell it as a ready-to-go gift. An online seller can ship it in a corrugated outer and the customer gets a gift box inside. It also works for wedding favors, holiday orders, and business gifts where the recipient carries the bottle away. Yes. The bag is sized for the box with a full 750ml bottle inside. The handles are attached to the bag body, so they won't pull out under normal carrying. We test the loaded bag by hand and with a drop test before shipping.

Can you change the foil colour?

Yes. Silver foil is standard on the black stock, but we can hot stamp gold, rose gold, or a custom colour. You'll need to approve a foil sample first, because some foils look different on dark paper than they do on white.

Is this box suitable for shipping wine by courier?

Not on its own. This is a gift box, not a transit shipper. If you're sending single bottles by courier, use it inside a corrugated outer with the bottle loaded. We can help you choose an outer that fits this box without extra void fill.
