European Retro Cylindrical Wooden Wine Box
It's a round wooden wine box, made for a single bottle. A solid wood cylinder carries an embossed floral texture and a deep vintage burgundy finish, and an antique-style lock holds the flip-top lid closed. Fits premium wine. Inside, soft velvet lines the cavity, which stops the bottle from moving. People use it for gifting, for retail display, and for winery branding. Although the look is traditional, the construction is practical: wood blocks light, the lining damps vibration, and the lid closes firmly enough for transport.
- Solid wood shell. High-quality solid wood, in a cylindrical body. The wood has an embossed floral pattern, which gives the box weight and a feel that printed cardboard can't get near.
- Vintage burgundy finish. The deep burgundy tone sits with antique-style hardware. The lock and hinge went together to match that old-world look.
- Velvet-lined interior. Soft velvet fills the cavity, protecting the bottle from light and vibration. You can specify EVA foam or silk lining, too.
- Fits different bottle shapes. The internal dimensions are set to your bottle. It passes a 10-second shake, a 45-degree tilt, and an inversion test.
- Surface options. Pick embossing, hot stamping, UV printing, or engraving. Logo placement is flexible.

Customisation
Size and internal shape can shift to hold the bottle you have. Wood tone and finish come in different variants set out by us, all changeable to your brand's colors. The surface treatment options are embossing, hot stamping, UV printing, and engraving. For the inside, the choice is velvet, EVA foam, or silk. Put your brand name, a logo, or a short message on the lid or on the body.
How the box is built
The body is turned from solid wood. It does not wrap over a core, so the embossed floral texture never peels at the edges. The flip-top lid has hardware that matches the antique lock. When closed, the lid sits evenly around the rim.
Inside, the velvet lining is cut to the bottle's profile and fitted to the wood cavity, not glued to the bottle. That holds the bottle centered, keeping it from knocking against the shell. The wood does the job of blocking light, which helps if you're storing it long term or putting it on a shelf.
Bottle fit and checks
The cavity follows your bottle's dimensions, unlike the standard 750 ml shape, and that is what makes it right for Burgundy, Champagne, or tall Riesling bottles. The fit gets three checks before shipment. Shake the closed box for 10 seconds and there must be no movement, tilt it 45 degrees and the bottle must not slide, then invert it fully while the bottle stays put. These are our in-house checks rather than a third-party mark. If any of those fails, the insert gets adjusted. Velvet gives a little compression through its pile, so the bottle sits snugly but still comes out easily.
Where it belongs
The box fits premium single-bottle gifting, retail display, and collector storage. Wineries put limited releases in it, retailers use it for high-end shelf work, and importers choose it when a bottle has to ride a courier van yet land like a gift at the door. It's wrong for cheap everyday wine and it won't handle multiple bottles in one carton; for that, look at our corrugated shippers. So this is a box built to display as much as to protect.
Buyer questions
Can this box fit a bottle that is not a standard 750 ml Bordeaux?
Yes, it gets adjusted to your bottle's shape and volume. Send dimensions or a sample and the internal profile changes to match. Our checks include a 10-second shake, a 45-degree tilt, and an inversion test to make sure the bottle holds tight.
Is the velvet lining removable for cleaning?
The lining is set to the wood cavity, so it isn't there to lift out. Need a replaceable insert? Use EVA foam, because it can be cut as a tray that comes up, and some buyers like that for reuse and inspection.
Will the embossed floral texture wear off with handling?
No, it won't peel. As the embossing is carved into the wood surface, not a printed layer, normal handling leaves it alone. A different texture or a smooth band for a logo is possible by adjusting the tooling.
